Marine Ecologist Public Speaker Adventurer

Taylor Bratton is a marine social ecologist who is passionate about advocating for the rights of tropical small-scale fishing communities and creating effective marine protected areas in a changing climate. She is the founder and director of Sea Collective, a research-based 501c3 dedicated to protecting fish and fisheries.

Taylor is a surfer, rock climber, scuba instructor, slackliner, sailor and all around adventurer. Her work and play has taken her to over 50 countries.

Marine Ecology

Through her studies, research, and work, Taylor has amassed a deep understanding of oceanography, ecology, and social-ecological systems. She has designed and established three successful marine protected areas.
